An unhurried, unspoiled natural paradise with spectacular sunsets, gentle breezes and crystal clear, turquoise waters. Buddy Reef, also known as Buddy’s Reef, is located adjacent to Buddy Dive Resort on the west coast of Bonaire, just north of town. The water here is crystal-clear and access to the reef couldn’t be easier. Snappers, tarpon, angelfish and parrotfish abound, and moray eels are common in the deeper parts of the site. To the north, divers and snorkelers can explore the Machaca wreck, before returning to the Buddy Resort jetty across the sandy backreef, where yellowhead jawfish are found.
